The new EU import duty (from 1 July 2026)

From 1 July 2026, the European Union introduced a temporary €3 customs duty on parcels valued up to €150 entering the EU from outside the bloc, including from the UK. It's a European Commission measure applied to all non-EU sellers, not a Rascals Co charge.

The duty is charged per product type in your order, based on its customs classification rather than the number of items. For example, ordering several of the same product attracts a single €3 charge, while ordering products of different types attracts €3 per type.

As the seller, we declare and pay this duty on your behalf and collect it at checkout, so your order clears customs without delay and there's nothing further to pay on delivery.
